Thank you Mark and Flexilight!

We would like to give a big THANK YOU to Mark Williams of flexilightFlexilight New Zealand for his generous donation. Each year Mark hosts a giant Christmas light attraction featuring all sorts of neat Flexilight designs. It really is a sight to behold. People often give donations, throughout the Christmas season, while viewing the lights. This year Mark choose Adoptadog as the lucky charity to receive the generous donations. So we want to thank both Mark and the community for supporting Flexilight and Adoptadog. Adoptadog and the dogs say thank you very much!

Lily has her forever after at long last

We have an adoption to announce, the beautiful sweet Lily was with Adoptadog for 10 months, and then her forever home 311892801came along.  Lily was timid when we first rescued her but she slowly started to come out of her shell she was eager to please and loved her human friends as much as her doggy friends.  Thanks to her foster family Richard and Rebecca (and foster brother Ricky) for looking after this amazing girl.  Thank you to her forever family for adopting her, good luck Lily and enjoy being spoilt you deserve it!

Sophie has gone to her forever home

Sweetheart Sophie came to us on May 4th 2012, she has been waiting for her forever home for 5 months. Today she went to her forever home, I have to confess a few tears were shed today she had become such a big part of our lives, but today Julie and Alan came to visit and Sophie just knew they were for her! She was a different girl and climbed up on Alans knee, lay her head on his shoulder and licked him and cuddled up close. She knew this was the family she had been waiting for, she was letting me know in the only way she knew how that she had chosen them and only them for her new home  and I had never seen her look so happy. I took her with me to visit and said my goodbyes there and then, I could see she was where she was meant to be. Goodbye sweet Sophie, you deserve the very best and now you have it, we will truly miss you but know how happy you will be in your new home . xxx
